“If you want to seed a place with activity, put out food. Food attracts people who attract more people.”
- William H. Whyte, The Social Life of Small Urban Places
Delicious Living
Named for the Roman goddess of the harvest, CERES is a culinary-centric community rooted in the belief that life thrives when we are truly nourished.
Beyond the traditional "agrihood," CERES offers a feast outside your door. Edible landscapes, orchards, gardens, a cookery school, and a chef incubator weave nourishment into the daily rhythm, creating a community that feels alive, generous, and ever-evolving. At CERES, food does more than sustain us; it drives our design, deepens our connections, and indulges our senses.

“Remember the earth whose skin you are.”
— Joy Harjo, Muscogee Nation, U.S. Poet Laureate
Honoring the First Stewards
Long before CERES, this land was home to the Muscogee (Creek) people, a nation of farmers and builders who understood that our care for the earth reflects our care for one another. Though removed in the 1830s, their legacy remains in the name of the nearby river and the spirit of the soil. We acknowledge the Muscogee Nation with profound respect. As the current caretakers of this land, we carry the responsibility of their stewardship into every seed we plant and every home we build.
